Apparently, I'm doing something right in my still life drawing class. Madame LeFonté owled me a note of praise regarding my sketch of the decrepit old church that's on the outskirts of town. This is exciting, and it never happens. She never dishes out praise like this.

With everything that's going on, I haven't even wanted to glance at this stupid thing. It doesn't feel right. I feel like I should be doing something, and not just sitting around here "waiting for the authorities to deal with it" as my father was so kindly told this morning at the Ministry.
I just want my cousin back. Please. Besides, I highly doubt that she's sitting by quietly. This is Sylvia we're talking about!

So, guess who is officially a working college student? THIS GIRL!
I put in my application at Stitching Memories a while back, and I totally forgot about it until Miss Warbeck owled me about starting work this morning. My first official day is tomorrow! This is so exciting! Plus, I'll get discounts on my art supplies!!!

It's hard to believe that in a week, I'll be turning twenty. Twenty. It seems like only yesterday I was turning seven, and Aunt Sydney was giving me my first paint set.

Apparently I need to work on my human figure sketching. According to Madame LeFonté, I need to work on my arms, and angles? or something. I don't know. I was only half paying attention.
Which means I need someone to model for me. Any takers?
